Jamie's Day Spa Adds to
Staff

PALESTINE
— Jamie’s Therapeutic Touch’s has added several new staff members
including: licensed massage therapists Pamela Vickers McAdams and
Kathy Klauser, nail techs Wendy Higginbotham, Stephanie Quick and
Shema Ladd; and hair stylist Tracey Lynn Boyde Dye.
McAdams
recently returned back to East Texas after living in Panama for
the past eight years. She has 16 years experience in massage
therapy. She trained in Austin in 1994 and taught seven years at a
massage school, helping to train students in anatomy, physiology
and special techniques. Vickers McAdams is well trained in face
lift massage, body wraps, Swedish, deep tissue, massage for
fibromyalgia, ear candling, massage for tension headaches, foot
scrubs, hot stone therapy, body scrubs, prenatal massage, paraffin
treatment, sciatica, chronic pain management, reflexology and
more.
Klauser is a natural gift for massage therapy. She
graduated from the Austin School of Massage Therapy in 1994. In
addition to her practice, she has worked as a massage therapy
instructor, and she went on to obtain her national certification
in medical massage. Klauser brings 17 years of experience. She is
proficient in Swedish, deep tissue, sports, hot stone, trigger
point, reflexology, fibromyalgia, ear candling, massage for
tension headaches, foot scrubs, hot stone therapy, body scrubs,
uplifting hot and cold stone therapy, tummy firming treatments,
face lift massage, sciatica, chronic pain management and pregnancy
massage. Her sessions are tailored to the client's individual
needs with the intention of promoting ongoing wellness in a safe
and comfortable environment.
Dye graduated from Trinity
Valley Community College in Athens with her degree in cosmetology
in 2004. She moved to Longview and began work at The Hair Gallery
in October 2004 and recently moved to Palestine to be closer to
my family. She loves doing colors, cuts, perms and “updos.”
Both Higginbotham and Quick completed 600 hours required by
the State of Texas in Nail Technology at TVCC in Athens under the
direction of Janet Elledge. They both passed written and practical
exams and received state license under cosmetology as manicurist.
They will be providing services that include manicures, pedicures,
nail extensions, nail repairs/wraps, nail art, acrylics and gel
nails. They are trained and specialized in gel nails and
certified in bio sculpture gel nail application.
Ladd, a
nail tech for 12 years, specialize in acrylics, nail art,
pedicures, manicures and fiberglass wraps. Ladd will work on
weekends and evenings by appointment only.
Jamie’s
Therapeutic Touch Day Spa’s complete staff includes: Jamie
Pettiette Rhone, Jamie Weaver, Jamie Lipsey, Jamie Humphrey,
Richard Trochea, Amy Gordon, Monika Camacho, Kathy Klauser, Pam
Vickers McAdams, Tracey Dye, Stephanie Quick, Wendy Higginbotham,
Shema Ladd, Morgan Carroll, Monnie Giles, Dr. Matthew Isom,
Jolonda Freeman, Denise Kennedy and Sammie Camacho.
Jamie’s
Therapeutic Touch’s hours are from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday and
Wednesdays, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 9-6 and Saturday 9 a.m.
to 2 p.m. Special appointments are available on request. For more
