PALESTINE - For those who want
to start 2006 on the right feet,
just put them in some water and
let Jamie Pettiette Rhone of
Jamie's Therapeutic Touch in
Palestine work her magic with
the new innovative health
treatment called Aqua DetoxT.
With just water and saline, the
Aqua DetoxT treatment uses
electrical current to stimulate
all cells in the body and
rebalance cellular energy, thus
allowing toxins to release
themselves through the feet into
the water.
"Modern-day living, stress and
poor diet introduce toxins into
the body which cause an
imbalance to the natural energy
within your cells," Rhone said.
"It is the natural function of
cells to absorb nutrients and
excrete waste products.
"Any imbalance can prevent the
cells from performing their
function properly," she added.
"That is why detoxification in
so important."
With a focus on skin, the
lymphatic system, kidneys,
liver, bowels, lungs and joints,
Aqua DetoxT treatments detoxify
by pulling toxins from those
areas and release them through
more than 2,000 pores located in
the feet.
Those toxins release in the
water and display different
colors or substances, depending
on where the treatment is doing
the most work.
"Orange water means that the
joints are being detoxified and
yellow or green water means the
treatment is cleaning out the
kidneys or bladder," Rhone said.
"There can even be a combination
of colors."

Rhone said she first learned

attending an aesthetics show and

another aesthetics conference in
Las Vegas this summer.
"I also read about it in a

said. "When I saw it on the TV
news about a month ago, I
decided I had to get it."
Palestine resident Lana
Griffith, received her first

and reported feeling immediately

"I had also seen it on TV,"
Griffith said. "I was intrigued
